At Premise Career Academy, we’re building more than a single training program—we’re creating pathways into real, meaningful and fullfilling careers. Our goal is to continue expanding our course offerings to give students opportunities to gain new skills, earn industry-recognized certifications, and advance their careers. In addition to our current programs, more training courses are coming soon, so students can continue learning and growing with PCA.

Medical Assistant Certification

Medical Care Assistance

PCA’s Medical Assistant Program prepares students for both the clinical and administrative responsibilities of today’s medical office. Students develop hands-on skills in areas such as vital signs, patient preparation, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, infection control, medical terminology, and clinical procedures while also learning essential front-office and professional skills.

The program combines classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory training, and an externship experience in a healthcare setting. Students are also prepared to pursue the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Medical Assistant Refresher + Certification

PCA’s Medical Assistant Refresher Course is a 100% online, self-paced program designed to be completed in less than one week. It is ideal for recent medical assistant graduates, working MAs who have never become certified, and individuals preparing to retake a certification exam.

The course provides a focused review of essential clinical and administrative knowledge to prepare eligible students to sit for the NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam and earn their national certification.

Because this is an accelerated refresher program, students are required to take their certification exam within 14 days of registering for the course.

You’ve already done the training. Now refresh your skills, take the exam, and get certified.

PCA plans to expand into X-ray and radiologic technology education as part of our continued growth in allied health training. This future program will focus on the knowledge, clinical skills, patient care, safety practices, imaging procedures, and radiation protection principles required for careers in diagnostic imaging.

Because X-ray and radiologic technology education is subject to specific state, clinical, and credentialing requirements, additional program details—including program length, eligibility requirements, clinical training, and certification or licensing pathways—will be announced as the program is developed and receives any required approvals.
